Quality standard ISO 17100, published in 2015 by the International Organization for Standardization, aims to define quality requirements and certify translation services during the different phases of the translation process - human and technological resources, quality management, project registration, legal framework, procedures, value-added services and definition of terms.
It includes provisions for translation service providers (TSP) on the management of key processes, minimum requirements on qualifications, resources availability and management and other actions necessary for the provision of a quality translation service.
